Tier 1 (7 wins):
MDU
Coppermine
Hero’s
M&D

Tier 2 (5 wins):
Crush

Tier 3 (3 wins):
Next Level
Hoco
Pride
FCA

Tier 4 (1 win):
Limelight
Stars
Skywalkers

It will be interesting to see how the Tier 3 teams fare against the top teams in B.

I'd put Crush in top tier.

Crush doesn’t belong in the top tier because they cannot beat top tier teams. They bully everyone else and lose to the top tier. That’s why they are their own tier.

Using the same logic M&D does not belong in the top tier because they cannot beat top tier teams.

The only top team M&D has lost to is Coppermine so you can’t apply that logic at this time.

Coppermine is the only top (Tier 1) team they played and they lost 12-7. These are the wins:

Crush 2028 - Tier 2
Next Level - Tier 3
HoCo 2028 - Tier 3
Pride - Tier 3
Limelight - Tier 4
Stars - Tier 4
Sky Walkers - Tier 4

M&D doesn’t belong in the top tier because they did not beat any top tier teams. If they beat Maryland United on Saturday then we can put them in the top tier.

The previous benchmark applied was “cannot” beat. Cannot beat and haven’t played (since the fall when they beat them both) are two very different things.. But if you want to change this very sophisticated ranking system then do as you please.

If M&D loses to MDU on Saturday by as much as they lost to Coppermine we may have to put them in Tier 3.

Devastating.

They can only play the schedule they have and they didn't play Hero's or MDU as they were in the other division. They are still in the top 4 hands down. This whole Tier 3 and 4 is bogus, all those teams are the same and have similar weaknesses. There's the 4 , then Crush then the rest.

Are we really debating 6th grade lacrosse?

It's not so much a debate but giving out information to maybe those looking around at clubs and not in the "know" of what is out there. Basically there's a large gap of the top teams and then everyone else in both the NGLL A and B divisions. In the DMV area, the 2 top clubs, Pride and Stars both have issues and that is what is being conveyed.

What about Bethesda? Are they a top club too?

It’s funny that anyone could look at 2028 Stars and conclude that they are one of the top teams in the DMV.

There are no top teams in the DMV, that's the point. Pride. Stars and Next Level all can't best the Maryland teams but they are best option in the DMV.

You keep doing this, it’s funny. I’m sorry that 2028 Stars are poor, but Next Level and Pride are decidedly better.

It’s true that none of those teams can beat they top 4 teams. But there’s a big difference in being mediocre and bad.

Explain your logic buddy. Stars 2028 beat Pride during winter. I’m NGLL Pride beat Stars by 1 with an 8 meter with less then 20 seconds to go. Next Level beat Stars by 2 but besides that had a blah NGLL. These 3 teams are mirrors of each other. Some talented players with their top 6/7 and then big drop off after that. But if posting on this forum makes you feel better about yourself and your DD keep doing you. Loser

“During winter” doesn’t mean much and a loss is a loss.

They do not mirror each other or are similar if one cannot beat the other two during the season. In fact, Stars almost went a whole season without beating anyone.

What I’m trying to correct here is your insistence on finishing other girls because unfortunately the team your DD plays for is objectively not very good. Stop trying to tear everyone down.
