Men lying about height

He said he's 5-11 and he's 5-6?

Uh, no.

Bye.

Red flag that he's willing to lie by so much.

I once saw a documentary that had a scene filmed in the Playboy Mansion "Grotto," a sort of fake cave and swimming pool. There was a drunken party going on with a bunchy of flouncy Playboy bunny types cavorting in the water with various sleazy looking men. One particular woman was holding a pantless toddler up above the water, kissing it, while it appeared to playfully rut against her. Someone said "Who would bring a child into a place like this??? That is disgusting. Someone needs to do something."

But the toddler was Vern Troyer (2' 8") getting his party on.

(Btw, we had claimed to be 3'2", but the woman didn't care. Why must people judge?)

My preference is 5'7" to 5'9" but I've dated men of all heights, including a couple who were shorter than I am.

oof .. we may look stupid together, but we are happy and have beautiful children, together 20 years.

-4'11" dw with 6'2" dh

I could say a couple where the man is a couple of inches shorter than the woman look stupid together, but I won't say that. oops.. just did.

Maybe you looked at us and thought we looked stupid together, and I looked at you when you were with a shorter guy and thought you looked stupid together. That would be pretty funny.

I actually think couples where the guy is more than a foot taller than the woman look weird. It looks like he's with his kid, and I figure he's not manly enough to get a woman remotely close to his height.

or he's man enough to not care what others think of him.

lol…what??

Im a tall man who is more attracted to short women and this is funny. A lot of tall guys prefer short women.

Most do. Short women are naturally more feminine, which also explains why women prefer tall men because it is typically viewed as a masculine trait. I’m 5’1” so as long as a man is taller and larger than me I could care less what his height is.

Short women are naturally more feminine? What kind of a ridiculous statement is that?

And who says being super feminine is an asset?

NP. I think the idea is that short women do not look like men, who are on average taller. Shortie = woman.

Being more petite might also seem more delicate, gentle, vulnerable, needing protection, etc. and other traditionally feminine traits.

I mean, regardless of how triggered tall women or short men get about the issue, height is a sexual dimorphic issue. Men are 5 inches taller than women on average, so just like any sexually dimorphic traits, like women having breasts and men not, or men having muscles and women not, tall height is a masculine trait and short height is a feminine trait. Obviously there are plenty of exceptions to this rule and it's not as hard and fast as, say, a man with double d breasts. Another example of this is that most women find a muscular man super hot, whereas many men would not be attracted to a muscular woman. And the reverse is true- a soft, curvy woman is very attractive to most men, whereas a soft, curvy man would be very unattractive to most women. Ditto for hairiness and all the other sex differences. No point in crying over it, it is what is it. But when the PP said that shortness is a feminine characteristic, theyre telling the truth. That's why tall men and short women are both at the tops of the dating pool.

ANd before anyone says it, I am not a short woman- actually above average height. But I'm not delusional.

Soft curvy woman? Megan fox doesn't look soft. Neither do most of the vs models. The fat vs models do look soft though. But nobody wants to see that in lingerie.

But Kim Kardashian does, Marilyn monroe, and many of the top models of old.

Addison Rae, Selma Hayek, Christina Hendricks, Sofia Vergara, Kelly Brook, Scarlett Johansen, Kate Upton, etc. I could go on and on.

NP. I have no issue with shirt men, as long as they are taller than me (5’3”). And I admit I like a masculine, muscular guy, because I’m more petite. But I would rule out a guy of any height who lied in his profile; that’s a real turnoff.

You'd date a 5'4 man?

If he were really broad-shouldered/masculine, yes. Although I usually prefer at least 5’6”.

But when we met, she was barely a B!! (and that's being generous).
Played it cool, but I was steamed... Talk about false advertising.
I guess you just can't trust some people.

Lol!! I identify as a woman and still find hilarious
