HS Party with Alcohol... Death

I believe you know nothing about which you are speaking.

If and when he gets his license back, he should be required to breathe into a breathalyzer in order to start the car. That is a no brainer. I think a small amount of jail time is also warranted in this case, no question, with his history of offenses.

I hope he stays in the county jail. There are much better programs here at the local level to help rehabilitate offenders. The state prisons pretty much just house people until their sentences are done.

Because he "is" coming out eventually, and he will be back in our neighborhoods. It's in everyone's interest that he's a better person when he gets out.

Totally agree with the interlock, though. Such an easy thing to do to help reduce DUI.

Why wouldn't he have a license. His two priors were not driving related.

It's all about connections, people. Ken Saltzman is well-connected. He'll get away with anything.

It has nothing to do with connections. His actions do not constitute involuntary manslaughter under the laws as they currently exist.

Why did he pay only $2500 times two?? Connections.

Because that is the maximum fine as called for in the law. It has nothing to do with "connections".

Exactly. They gave him the maximum under current law. If this is the same poster all the time claiming wealth and connections, it's getting really old.

I think something is in the works to change the law so an adult doesn't get away with a small fine in the future.

So don't let her drive. You drive her, you pick her up. That's how it was done before Uber.

Sometimes they want to hide the fact they were drinking from you. The uber gives them a safe ride home.

I am not the PP but you are wrong. $2500 per child drinking alcohol on your premises is the law. No maximum. He had over 20 kids in his house. 4 of them left drunk in a car. That does not equal $5000. He made a deal and the DA (who probably knows him) allowed it. There is another man that has 16 kids and a penalty of up to $35,000

The law of jail time and increased fines for parents throwing parties has gone thru the house but is not a law quite yet. Will hopefully be soon.

This is exactly right.
Mr. Shyster Lawyer keeps trying to defend his shitty behavior. Shame on him!

By law, he should have paid much, much more. Everyone knows he got off extra easy.
