Community service for homicide? I would hope the punishment would be more severe...like at least some jail time. |

He pled guilty to the manslaughter charges not homicide. He is out on bond until sentencing in June. |

Sending him to jail hurts more than 10,000 hours of community service. Given the choice, I'd rather do community service. It's easier. He killed someone. He should get jail time. |

The max is 10 per count I believe. So perhaps 10 years for both with and out in 4-6? |

| I'd be fine with community service if he had to live in a halfway house and away from his pampered entitled life. If his parents are giving him a cushy life (cell phone, PlayStation, home cooked meals, friends over, probably drinking) while shuttling to and from his community service hours, the message is lost. |
