They looked pretty bad tonight. 3 was dominant, he coulda had 10-12 assists if YT finished better.

He’s a stud.

Pretty sure he had 10 points tonight

Robinson by 3. 8-5 type score.

Kudos to Madison and Robinson for scheduling each other early, not to mention Madison scheduling Langley and Yorktown. much better than scheduling pastry teams and running up the score.

Riverside -8 - Oakton will finally face an elite team and crumble.
Battlefield -2 - Good on Yorktown for scheduling 3 top 5 teams early in the season, but I think every time they face a team that can dial in on number 3 like I believe battlefield can they will struggle.
Madison -1 - They beat Yorktown by more than Robinson did so I favor them initially but it will be very close.
Langley -6 - Langley seems to have beaten a WnL team that West Potomac only beat by one so I take them somewhat big in this game.
Herndon -3 - This line is only so close because Herndon doesn't have a great defense which allows teams to keep up with what I think is a pretty good offense.
Chantilly -7 - Chantilly seems to be on a similar level of the Oakton team that beat McLean by 11, but everyone knows that Oakton has the fab 5 so who knows if Chantilly is truly as good as they are.

I agree with everything except these:

Langley will be more like -12. They will get a running clock.
Oakton sill be -3. Riverside is not very good. Oakton has weapons all over the field.

When I do predictions I like to keep it in the single digits because I don't hope for blowouts, but I can for sure see Langley putting on a running clock.

From what I have heard, Oakton has a real goalie problem. I suspect their game vs LB will be a 1-2 goal game tonight in either direction.

Just watched Oakton vs Lake Braddock on NFHS The game was never really close. Long possessions by Oakton offense to start the game. Once the scoring started Oakton seemed to be in control of the game. I think it was 6-1 at half time. Lake Braddock never got closer than 8-4 I think. Lake Braddock seemed to be starting to figure it out at the end of the game but it was too late. Game was well played game between two competitive teams. I don't know much about Oakton but they seem to have a lot of people who can score. Offense did not seem to focus on any one person. The NFHS audio was weird but their announcer during lineup said they had mostly freshman sophs and juniors. Lake Braddock only had one player #13 I think that seemed to be making a difference. Did not see much from LB #14 I heard he was good against Chantilly. I am a little biased for the Bruins but the refs did not seem to call anything against oakton versus 3 or 4 penalties for LB. I thought that was odd considering it was a physical game. I may have missed 1 penalty. That said I don't think it would have mattered. Oakton had a response offensively for every LB push. Tough start for the guys in purple. I guess it's a good thing they don't play in the Liberty District 0-2 with Madison coming up.
