| You have to respect the commitment to whoever keeps posting that Riverside isn't very good. Faceoffs and stalling may keep it close for a little but Riverside is going to pull away in this one at some point. Their whole bench will see the field. |
| Are there any best known methods (set up, settings, etc) or ways to get the NFHS cameras to focus on face offs? Seems like 1/3 of FOs end up with the camera still focused on the location of a prior goal, or somewhere that isn't on the ball. I know the auto-feed is nice to have, but the frequency with which it has issues with lacrosse seems very high and I am hoping there's maybe some set up thing that can help. |
It works well for football so schools won't touch the settings to make it any better for other sports. But to give the system credit I'm sure it's hard to track a white ball, in a white stick, with white unis, on a poorly lit field. |
I'm VERY happy to have it, that's for sure. And it is definitely better for football or I even assume soccer where the ball is much more obvious to find. It just sucks when there is a goal and the camera is stuck with focus on the goal/ie or the players milling about, because it isn't obvious that the FO is about to happen based on player movements. I don't think refs are going to be willing to waver their hands overhead before a FO, or to tell the FO guys to wave their sticks as they approach the x or something like that. Some schools clearly have better set ups than others. |
One average high school lacrosse team playing an equally average team. Congrats for being so bold. |
You must be fun at parties. Let the kids play; just because they aren't Chaminade or Landon doesn't mean they aren't kids playing lacrosse having fun. |
Your response has literally nothing to do with the premise of the original comment- go back and do a better job of trying to draw a different nexus next time. |
My point is that crapping on two teams for being average in the grand scale of high school lacrosse is just unnecessary and the only point of doing so is to boost their own fragile ego. To say I avoided the premise of the argument is just as childish as the original argument itself. |
I agree with this guy. Do a better job of not being an absolute loser. If they are average teams, you’re the guy actively seeking out average teams to call them average. Look in the mirror man, what are you doing with your life that it’s come to this point? |

Nerd! go back the private school thread. We know your kid has no friends over there and begs you to send him back to public school.
nex·us /ˈneksəs/ noun a connection or series of connections linking two or more things. "the nexus between industry and political power" a connected group or series. "a nexus of ideas" the central and most important point or place. "the nexus of all this activity was the disco" |
You probably think you are dumping on Madison and Robinson, but you are actually dumping on yourself, and your son, since it is obviously his standing in the lacrosse world where that you are insecure about. parents of players who are killing it don't say stuff like that. go ahead, tell us your son's school and then we can move on. |
