Not yet at any rate. Pretty sure you need a law change for that. (Not just eliminating Dept of Education)

Not yet at any rate. Pretty sure you need a law change for that. (Not just eliminating Dept of Education)

To add: option 3 would almost certainly incur the administration’s ire given now beyond the pale it is. So option 3 might just result in a withholding of Title 1 funding.

State and federal. But it really helps lower income kids lower schools. Most funding comes from the county when you look at the overall budget but when you hear about lower class sizes, everyone on free breakfast and lunches, that’s how it gets paid.

Yes, but there are so many other things to worry about, like the crushing blows to Science in the US. There’s just too much going on.

There is little science at some MCPS schools. We have no ap science. It’s sad what’s going on.
