I know of several more and as others have said if MLSN forces GA on clubs that's another 5-10. Boys ECNL isn't doing well. Eventually bigger girls clubs will switch to MLSN + GA for a better boys league. The first ones in will get the best deals. It's ironic how much all this parallels what happened with DA. |
| Other than the fact the it was super selective and had what 5 clubs in this area? Sounds more like whatâs left of ECNL, as opposed to GAL blowing up to flood what was already a watered down market. This does not benefit consumers. Everyone should not be on an academy team. All it does is confuse and pollute parentâs unrealistic ambitions for their kids. It doesnât feel great but moving with our feet to ECNl before there are no rosters spots left is what my conclusion has become. GAL will be great for many but at this point too many teams, itâs basically a higher level EDP league now. |
Thatâs why you have Tier II my friendâŚ. |
Donât act like ecnl on the girls and boys side isnât watered down lol. Look who they are adding⌠|
If ECNL ends up with only the strongest clubs, that will be great. Until the limited clubs get tired of the travel |

Anyone want to take a guess on what the GA MA conference would look like after the new additions and possible relegations? Trying to see how heavy the travel would be.
And what showcases do the u13-15 typically go to? Where are playoffs generally held? Do you think they will adjust the current playoff format? |
Def will be than ECNLâŚ. I think there will be mass realignment. The south Central conference has about 6 teams (AL, SFL, NC). It makes no sense. I think ECNL and GAs goal is to give Florida their own conference. |
Sounds like you're someone who is not from one of the clubs moving, and phishing for info to create convo |
Another MD one by Friday |
Sounds like you are wrong. If you donât want to answer than keep it moving. |
