You mean documented cases of sexual harassment.

Will you be saying the same thing when consensually sent nude pictures and sexual text exchanges of these teachers show up?

Is that how MCPS and Jackson Lewis plan to make these cases go away? By extorting people who complained? Releasing revenge porn is a misdemeanor in Maryland, so it’s not workable as a defense strategy.

That’s not revenge porn when someone’s job is on the line when they are being accused of harassment.

No, it’s revenge porn to release intimate pictures of someone on the Internet without their permission. No reputable organization or law firm would participate in it, but sadly that means it’s not out of play for MCPS.

I don’t think anyone said the pictures would be released but they will definitely be evidence of consensual wrongdoing and not harassment.

No such pictures have been publicly mentioned. Also, in a workplace environment, a subordinate is not on an equal plane to provide consent. That’s why most employers make such actions cause for termination. Finally, if someone withdraws consent, continuing to make sexual advances is sexual harassment.

The pictures were mentioned further up in the thread by the poster who seems to be in the know.

And agree completely on all of your other points.

Unless PP is Biedleman himself or someone in Central Office, no such pictures have been mentioned in the media. It’s just some false spin trying to justify abhorrent behavior by a supervisor.

Are there pictures of kids agreeing to be called hoes?

Yes because he was their boss. The power dynamic is no different than an adult doing this to a minor

Whoever thinks explicit photos and texts sent between Beidleman and a subordinate would clear him, if these so called images and exchanges even exist, clearly has no knowledge of the law.

Maybe his lawyer is testing different theories here to see how they land.

Of course that part won’t be mentioned but it will…

Unless you were there I don’t think you can speak on this. I was there and no one was called a ho. Terms were used referring to the language kids had been using on social media.

Do you even know how many relationships there are between subordinates and their bosses in mcps? PLENTY

And? Your point? While each situation is going to be a different level of wrong, no supervisor should be having a relationship with a subordinate. It's an abuse of power whether or not it's consensual. Want to date your subordinate? One of you needs to get a new job first.

All 18 did not report sexual harassment…
You all really want to make this man out to be some pervert yet you attended every out of school function that he invited you to.

You seem to be in the know. Do you think the report from Jackson Lewis will also blame the victims?

Jackson Lewis is a mystery. Not “open communications” as McKnight claimed.
