Has anyone gone this route? In light of the ethical issues related to the diamond trade?
Were you happy? |
| No sense in buying anything but a lab diamond at this point. They are diamonds, and they are less expensive. I wouldn't assume that they are 100 percent easily the environmentally sound choice or that they are ethically the best choice. It's more complicated than you might think. But everything else being equal, I would absolutely buy a lab. |
| Lower resale value no way |
You buy diamonds as investments? Lol… |
| Why? You'll always know it's not real. |
lol |
It is not really made deep in the earth, it is made in a lab. But the result is the same product. |
I am banking on the next generation being more evolved than we were! |
Yeah, the person who thinks that they are "not real" has really been drinking the De Beers Kool-Aid. |
Huh? The moment you walk out of the jeweler with your blood diamond it drops in value by half |
Sure it does Jan |
| I don't understand why I would want a not lab diamond. |
| The creation of lab diamonds has totally turned me off diamonds altogether. |
| I love both my mined diamond and my lab diamond. In short, I love diamonds and it makes no difference to me where they were created as they're ALL diamonds. |
| Impossible to tell the difference. They are chemically the same. I’d get one in a heartbeat |
