NO ONE HAS ADDRESSED THIS IN THE 4 MONTHS OF THE OTHER BS.

Nope, it's like no one cares. Wtf?

It is like all of his missing documents. The republicans pushed him through anyway. They don't care what they are confirming.

Which is why I keep saying: anyone who votes yes on Kavanaugh is part of a criminal conspiracy. The GOPers would like to pretend that Brett is sweetness and light, but he is a dirty political operative nominated to fill the seat of a man who had his clerks chosen and who, after visiting Trump at the White House, abruptly resigned and whose son was Trump’s banker at Deutsche Bank, and who was paid off by some mysterious deep pocketed special interest...

Nothing, nothing, nothing about this is on the up and up.

But liberals aren't conspiracy theorists or anything. Nope, not you guys!

Which is a shame. I hope she runs for president one day.

I think so too. There is a reason they did a limited scope and limited time investigation. He wouldn't have passed otherwise.

I think there will be enough that he could be impeached and removed later.

I don't think he'll be impeached, but he will forever have a stain on his name and record.

It's not just the drinking and the whipping out his penis in a woman's face and the assault of Ford. There are:

--finances
--lies under oath
--questions of temperament
--hyper-partisanship of his Bush days

YEs, I agree, don't forget when all his papers are available.
Also he definitely had and forwarded stolen emails and lied under oath about it - that is the one that could get him out.

I think there will be enough to get him impeached, but it depends on other factors if that happens.

Impeached, but will he be removed?

I hope so. Impeachment and removal depends on if there are enough democratic senators.

As for information, yes, I think this will not be forgotten and people will work on it to find the proof. I think there is already proof on some of the things. Also there has never been a SCJ charged with perjury and impeached so it is new territory.

There is an obvious lack of knowledge about impeachment. Getting a majority in the House is doable in the mid terms, which would then be enough to advance impeachment over to the Senate. But do you really believe they can achieve a super majority to remove him with the hyper partisanship that exists in both parties? I don't.

I think democrats would have to have the super majority.

And they have a snowballs chance in Hell of getting to that number. It's not likely they will take the Senate this go round

With total proof of perjury, some decent Republicans should vote to impeach

But "decent Republican" is pretty much an oxymoron as flake and Collins have shown us

I didn't support Kavanaugh's nomination because I don't like his history of being a partisan hit man, but I disliked the way he has been treated over the past two weeks. I think this will hurt the Democrats more than the Republicans.

I have a huge amount of respect for Susan Collins now. She could have meekly issued a statement like other senators, but she actually got up in front of everyone and articulately explained her position and basing her position on the need to at least meet the preponderance of evidence standard.

I completely agree. Huge props to Sen. Collins for explaining her decision so articulately. The past few weeks have been a disgusting nightmare smear job.

He is definitely a liar.

And a drunk.

His wife was practically rolling her eyes hind him during the hearing. She should get out NOW.

Dr. Ford's lawyers' statements.

Read how one of Leland's high school friends tried to guilt Leland into changing her testimony by bringing up the tragic death of her high school boyfriend in a diving accident.

Shameless.

Here is that open letter to Leland from Sara Corcoran published in the Daily Caller. I did not hear about this until today:

https://dailycaller.com/2018/10/01/letter-leland-ingham-keyser/

Talk about pressure.

This is horrible, and what happens when people put politics before everything else.

Like she pretends not to see the liar Kavanaugh is? She is voting along the party line, how refreshing is that?

None of those items really make a difference at this point.

Her insistence on the preponderance of evidence standard is what is important. She rejected the idea that the mere presence of allegations is sufficient to reject someone.
