Hayfield Football Coach Fired

Anonymous
Michelle Reid absolutely needs to step down after her involvement in this debacle. She repeatedly went to the mat for an FCPS school that engaged in conduct that resulted in VHSL sanctions, numerous wildly uneven games involving other FCPS schools, and avoidable injuries of student-athletes from other schools. Rather than conduct a thorough investigation, Reid defended obvious improprieties and, even now, puts out statements in support of Overton's sketchy program. I'm sure she has her motivations, starting with a knee-jerk unwillingness to challenge a minority coach for fear of being attacked as racist, but she's demonstrated that she's not fit for the task of leading one of the country's largest and most scrutinized school districts. It is time for her to GO!

I just read the hot-off-the-press Washington Post Allmetsports article by Nicky Wolcott. In a nutshell it says FCPS is very disappointed with the outcome and stands with Hayfield. FCPS believes Hayfield did nothing wrong.

So I do believe Superintendent Reid will continue to support Hayfield and the coaching staff during this probationary period. I’m not sure what else they can do.

Reid's contract is up for renewal. We can contact our school board members and tell them that Reid is a terrible principal without morals or integrity.

Really? That's appalling! VHSL determined that they were CHEATING and she stands by their cheating?

Lewis team will end it as soon as they can to avoid kids getting hurt. There's a huge size discrepancy.

Is Kreeper Karen the Apostle down on the sideline?

I wonder if Reid is at the game to show her support for the Hayfield Cheaters

These Hayfield players are playing nasty and rough. Just got a personal foul for attacking the QB.
