I'm confused how he had access to this child. She was on vacation with her parents in Panama City Beach at the same time he was, five years ago? One, why is he just now being charged? Two, why would these parents leave their daughter alone with a random man long enough that he was able to molest her? Very strange.

Also, leave it to a Duggar to be in Panama City Beach in the middle of the pandemic.

Because it obviously involves an extended family member/in law/friend's family/known community member. As is the case is the vast, vast majority of CSA.

I’m confused on the timeline also. Waiting for an expert to weigh in because I don’t understand.

But I’m assuming she was a family friend. And that’s why they were together.

I believe it took the victim that long to come forward. And yes I was thinking the same about doing whatever la-di-da in the summer of 2020 peak Covid …

These people are sick in the head. I've literally don't know of a family where one son committed crimes against minors let alone two. And it's even more freakish that the little girls are usually related to them. FFS from what I heard when his trial went down, the one kiddie porn Josh was in posession of was so vile it made investigators vomit. They are an evil family.

The article I read said she did not report it for 5 years , at which point she did, and had a forensic interview of some kind, and her dad confronted Joseph, along with the police or sheriff or whoever; and he admitted it.
