Wow. This show did not age well. Rare to dissect a reality show from decades ago, with a modern day sensibility.
(Now airing on Netflix) |
| Thank you for directing me to this. Crazy work week, but very eager to watch this weekend. They have all the judges!!!! |
| Repeats of the show gained a resurgence in popularity during the pandemic. I even found myself binging for a few months. Looking forward to watching the documentary. |
| What's up with Miss J? Dude can't put a sentence together. |
Just finished the series. I feel like such a d1ck. |
Good. |
| Looking forward to watching. I remember how nasty Tyra was on some episodes and it sounds like it's now common knowledge that this wasn't ok. I was a teen watching it and thinking what a dick she was- for no reason. |
| Why did they bother to make this? Everyone knows ANTM wouldn’t age well. |
| All the comments about weight and talking about how "much" or what they were eating. |
| And the haircuts that seemed to be chosen to be cruel rather than for any other reason |
| Shandi does not look like herself at all. It's weird how nobody. mentioned the obvious legal point. |
| Sure, the mean haircuts. Oh, and the full on sexual assault they just stood there, filmed, edited, and aired.... |
| I've only watched the first episode. I'm puzzled why Janice Dickinson isn't positioned as more of the bad guy. Tyra definitely looks more sane/caring compared to Janice. |
I’d be interested on the take of the others. She didn’t mention assault until now. Called her boyf and said we had sex…I am not saying it wasn’t an assault but I didn’t remember thinking it was back when I first watched it and if even worse footage exists, I wish they backed her and said it was wrong and she was assaulted. |
You will regret having said that when you get to the last episode . (Don’t be so quick to judge…) |
