If you’re 50s and up, how many meds are you on?

Overall I’m not all that unhealthy but somehow I’m on a pile of meds (albeit including HRT).

Anyone else?

I should add, early 50s. I went straight from BC to HRC and it was perfect because I have no history of breast cancer.

I'm resisting statins because I have some serious genetic cholesterol and HR stuff I think that GLPs will help that more than statins will but docs aren't up to speed yet! (I'm thin)

Finally, I probably should be on anxiety meds but again, too much trouble with gatekeeping. So thanks, DCUM! Helping me with my anxiety!

(TLDR It's too much PITA to be on a medication in our US health system.)

56. I don't take any meds.

49. I take thyroid medication (since I was 12), metformin (I was briefly in prediabetic range, but now prediabetic), and reluctantly aa statin. I’m pretty fit and active. Genetics suck! I also take some vitamins. I would not take HRT since I’m high risk.

Sorry, I meant I was briefly diabetic, but now only pre.

60. Whole bunch. Name it and I take it. Since 2020.

First wave COVID-19 in Feb 2020 that did not kill me but I ended up with a whole lot of lifelong issues.

All in all, i feel pretty lucky.
