So you still haven’t heard either? My kid applied to Visual Arts. We have heard nothing yet. I keep worrying/wondering if only students who are moving to the interview stage have heard back or if they are just behind schedule & no one has heard yet. |

| Still nothing on vocal. I’m thinking with recommendations not closing until Monday, perhaps they are waiting. Not sure why recs couldn’t be due the same day as applications. But hopefully they’d let kids whose recs are in, know. |

| Also haven't heard anything re: vocal, and doesn't seem others at our MS have heard either. They have "walk ins" for vocal scheduled today (whatever that means - maybe for kids who weren't able to submit recordings?) so perhaps they are waiting to get through those before sending invites for callbacks, which are listed as happening Wednesday the 11th and Wednesday the 18th. |

Hey! Update for parents of kids who applied to Visual Arts:
I contacted the school directly today, since timing re audition invites has definitely been unclear.... DESA emailed me a response at 12 pm Monday 2/9, saying that the visual arts department is still actively reviewing portfolios. So, as of now: no news is not necessarily bad news. |
