Any schools touching the Minneapolis situation?

Many schools in the area love to tout their focus on "social justice" and almost every school in the area made a statement on October 7th (and in some cases a follow up apology statement), but haven't heard a peep from any about the government murdering US citizens on the street. Any statements that I am missing? Do your students report discussing it at school? Disappointed by my school's complete lack of response.

Haven’t most schools implemented policies where they don’t issue statements / respond to events not directly related to school operations?

What would even be the point to issue statements about irrelevant news events around the world?

I’m with 11:15. Performative statements on every event - even tragic ones like what happened in Minneapolis - are ridiculous. They are, at best, performative.

I’m not looking for a school that has a statement on stuff that has nothing to do with school operations. I AM looking for a school that reinforces values that result in good human adults.

This is like when HOAs and PTAs made statements about social issues.
