| Curious to hear if parents of players who participated this year thought it was worth it. Were club coaches understanding of the missed time? |
| How was the online school program? Worth the price? Actual cost as well as sacrificing the normal HS experience w/friends, school activities, etc? |
In your usual pitiful toxic rush to bash the academy, you look like a fool, again, because the Futures program has nothing to do with online etc |
If you dont have an actual answer, it's totally fine to just keep scrolling |
That’s aggressive. |
wtf does this question have to do with the topic at hand? Why not start a new thread asking current DCUA players about this rather than hijacking a thread on a totally separate topic. |
yes and yes. |
He/She spends every waking moment trolling the forum to take any opportunity to bash DCU In a few they'll dig up any old threads they can find |
There are unfortunately two local clubs who ruined the chance for their players to get the most from the opportunity and experience They made life miserable for the parents and players in regards to participating in the program. Blocked the kids at every turn. Sad |
For those of us without a DCU kid, would you be willing to share: are these U13/U14 boys? Which clubs do they come from mostly? Which clubs blocked the kids? |
| Nicely framed question and the mudslingers crawl out of their caves immediately. So pathetic. |
SYC, Alexandria, Baltimore Armor and Celtic, Bethesda, copper mine, Arlington, VDA, Skyline, Richmond and I’m sure I’ve missed others. |
Bethesda and Baltimore Armour are the ones who blocked their kids from participating or made it extremely difficult Kids pretty much come from all the MLS Next and ECNL clubs in the dmv |
Yes, u13/14 |
while those two clubs let their kids participate in weekly practice with dcua, they wouldn't let them participate in the 3 weekends the futures played tournaments/games. but it wouldn't be tru to suggest that no one from those two teams were selected for the team for next season. instagram posts confirm this just isnt the case |
