I’m not sure about the hair, but the coat is incredible and overall she looks stunning.

| I really like the coat and I am not a fan of her style in general. |
Me too for both. |
I am loving Mamdani's mom's fashion - (Mira Nair - the renowned film maker)

She has a really bad haircut. I know she's going for the art hoe* page boy look but it's just not professional on a nearly 30yo woman.
*"Art hoe" is the name for a style aesthetic, not me calling her a hoe for all the Boomers and Gen xers who read here |
Um who is it for if not (gasp) nearly 30 women. It looks great. |
| I am not a fan of Mamdani, but there is nothing unprofessional about his wife’s hairstyle. It’s neat and looks good on her. Not everyone needs blond extensions. |
NP. I think her haircut looks fantastic. 30 is still youthful, and she wears it very well. It looks clean, cute, and professional to me. Much more professional than long fake extensions. |
+1 It is also very professional for her job. She is an artist! She has no reason to look like a boring DC lawyer. She isn't one. |
| I don't love the coat. But her haircut looks great on her for her face structure, age and profession. |
| The coat could be great, but it is so unflattering on her shape. Makes her look very dumpy. |
What on earth is Mamdani wearing in the right hand picture? He looks like a complete moron in whatever that is...
|
Here's what she wore for the actual swearing in. I wonder if those are the hideous witch boots from her photo shoot.

My cousin, who is also a beautiful slender woman in her early 30s in NYC, has a similar cut (blunt below the ears, but no bangs). I don't like it AS a cut, and it would look terrible on me as a barely average looking woman, but I've always thought that's kind of the point and the charm of it. You can ONLY pull it off if you're beautiful. I love Duwaji's coat and boots. |
Wha? It’s a great haircut for a late 20s NYC creative. Do you expect her to have The Rachel or something? |
