Is it worth it to you to pay $150 a day for pool chairs?

Going away for Christmas to a place where I know there will be a mad dash for pool chairs at the very busy resort. Would you pay $150 a day for reserved pool chairs? I want to sleep in on vacation instead of rushing down at 8am to get chairs, but I'm super annoyed to spend $1000 a night at a hotel where I also have to buy pool chairs.

Hell no!

The hotel knows you can pay $150 if you are already paying $1000/night.

How much is a cabana? I at least want guaranteed shade

This place sounds miserable. I wouldn't go.

$150 per chair or is that the full amount for your group? I would probably pay for days we planned to spend the whole day at the pool (assuming it included shade).

Just go at 8am and put your magazines and flip flops on 2 chairs.

I wouldn’t go somewhere that crowded in the first place. And I’m not rich. So no I wouldn’t.

Same.

Aruba or Bahamas?

Honestly, I’ll never understand why anyone flies to an island and prefers to sit by a pool rather than on the beach.

I need 4 chairs, and I'd like to sleep in.

I hope this isn’t the Grand Wailea in Maui. God that place is awful now.
