Yeah because most of the federal workforce is continuing to work without a paycheck so you and many Americans are not inconvenienced.

This is why we need a real shutdown. No SS checks going out. No air travel. No food and drug testing. Finally show people what they are voting for when they say they want to get rid of Feds.

Basically that authoritarian states have two tracks for justice. One for supporters. One for the opposition or others. So military and ICE get paid. Other departments don’t. Latinos get terrorized, even citizens. Whites do not get bothered.

Use of shadow docket at SCOTUS to decide cases means there’s no majority opinion. Explains the use of NG in the touristy areas of DC landscaping and picking up trash and ICE in immigrant neighborhood or hoods kidnapping people.
