I thought Waltz did a great job. Public speaking does not come easy to everyone and that's ok. Vance being able to tell repeated lies with a straight face does not mean he is better prepared for the position. He's just better at being a BS artist.

I still feel both are equally bad for different reasons. It's nothing to be proud of. Y'all who suggest Walz did great last night weren't actually watching objectively. You love him and are Dems but objectively, his performance was not impressive for the high profile event this was. You can say Vance's policies suck and he's a slimy imbicile but his performance was objectively better.

I think that it's about 2028. Nobody wins for the next 4 years - these people are all fools. Harris will drive us all to the ground but yes, for whatever it's worth I suppose she's better than Trump/Vance.

As I watched, the main thing I considered is who is more prepared to step into the presidency. That is the primary purpose of a VP.

Vance proved he is ready. He has a command of the issues. He is able to articulate his positions and can explain and defend the positions of the ticket he is running on. He understands the concerns of the American people. And, he is at ease addressing a large audience.

The same cannot be said for Walz. He struggled trying to defend his past statements. And, they didn't even get into the whole military service embellishments. It wasn't clear that he understood or could defend the positions of his ticket. This is not surprising since it is questionable whether Harris actually can articulate her positions. He was uncomfortable. And, what was the "I became friends with school shooters" all about? WTH?

You know, I don’t want a commander in chief who makes sh!t up, by his own admission. Narcissists are masters of ease. Not exactly a plus.

Yeah, walz isn't as smooth of a speaker as vance when vance is scripted, but walz also delivered the only knock-out punch of the night!
