Let’s share secrets, big or small

I sometimes go to the movies by myself, if no one wants to go with me. I find it to be very relaxing!

I sometimes go to the casino by myself, maybe once a year. I may go twice a year with friends, but that one time a year I just get to play whatever game I want to get a drink or just walk around is really fun. It kind of makes me feel like I’m playing hooky, doing something deliciously irresponsible when 99% of the time, I am a saver and a rule follower and a schedule follower. It’s like being someone completely different for two hours. My limit is about $200-300. I figure since I never spend money on online shopping, this is kind of like my Bad Mom Money.

If I see someone being rude to other people, especially other moms, I will stare at them deliberately to make them uncomfortable. Sometimes, just knowing someone is clocking the behavior is enough to make them change course. I know I’m not the boss or the judge and jury, but when I know I am seeing someone being mean, I check them with my eyes.

Uh, none of these three examples have anything secretive about them.

And your last example is nothing more than flat-out bragging about what a hero you are.

Yeah, one of these days you are going to "check" the wrong person with your eyes and they are going to respond by blackening one of them.

Once upon a time, I was on an anonymous mommy chat board that was not DCUM. There were these two b****y women in DC's Music Together class who iced everyone else out and talked to one another the entire time like there wasn't a class going on. They mentioned the chat board at some point, so once I knew they used it I would eavesdrop on them and then post on the chat board about their conversations like I was one talking smack about the other.

What do you mean they iced everyone else out? Were there only three of you in the class? Sounds like you got way too obsessed with two people who enjoyed each other's company and you got jealous or something. What you did on that chat board is bizarre and borders on stalking.

This is really, really funny.

I once had an argument with a friend (no longer my friend) and her position was so absurd and gaslighting that I couldn't let it go. So I went on the reddit subthread r/AITA, which I know she reads religiously, and posted our disagreement but as her, outlining her argument for her behavior. People roundly declared her TA and I never heard from her again. No regrets.
