We had two Halloween parties this weekend and while I didn’t necessarily eat too much or eat “bad” things, I definitely ate things I don’t usually indulge in, and I’m really feeling it today.
What things should I (or shouldn’t I) eat this week to feel like myself again? |
| Eat less move more is this a real question? |
| Go back to normal and don’t worry about it. Maybe drink more water |
I mean, yes? What do you mean by “eat less”? I’m already staying in a caloric deficit, so what would that look like? Liquids? I’m genuinely asking. I haven’t felt this off since I started my weight loss journey and I’m wondering what works best to get back to baseline quickly. |
Thank you! |
| Can we please get rid of the phrase “weight loss journey?” |
| Stop eating. |
Sorry! I don’t post here often and wasn’t sure how to indicate that I’ve been eating differently and working out consistently for a while in order to lose weight. |
Like, a liquid diet next week? |
Consistency is the name of the game here. Just like endurance sports training. Somebody with a year of running training doesn’t all of a sudden go back to zero because they took a weekend off. Same here. Go back to normal. Don’t do anything exotic. Water and fiber will get you feeling better again. |
Thanks so much! I’ll definitely up my fiber and make sure I’m keeping extra hydrated. I appreciate the advice! |
| If you ate a lot of sugar then it may trigger some sugar cravings. Make sure your breakfast and lunch is protein heavy |
|
How can this even be a serious question.
Gee maybe you should try the gelatin trick I saw in Instagram. |
| I'd personally make sure to get at least a liter & a half to two liters of water, and not eat any added sugars and very low sodium for a day or two. |
What do you gain from being a jerk to someone who is asking a genuine question? She wasn’t rude to you, so why be a jerk? Just say nothing. Thankfully, you’ve gotten good advice here, OP. Good luck! You’ll feel like yourself again by Friday, I promise. |
