Thomas Taylor and BCC

Anonymous
Anyone else notice that in the new proposal BCC gets more students and the best programs in Region 1? And schools like Einstein and Northwood get vocational programs like health care assistant and preschool teachert instead of IB or stem?

Pretty shady that Taylor is playing favorites with school he went to.

Doesn't BCC already have an IB program? And so does Einstein?

BCC gets the regional IB, not Einstein.

Exactly. Taking IB + Arts away from Einstein is just ridiculous.

How does regional IB work?

It will be the only IB in region 1. Einstein just loses IB classes.

Regional IB = more foreign nationals? And
Humanities = program for English- as- dominant-language students ?

Performing arts go away to Northwood. Visual arts is up in the air but they are saying it won’t be a countywide magnet.

High school students are/were getting bussed in middle of day to Einstein (or was it Edison) for the arts program is what we heard.
