Whats going on at Wootton? All the counselors are gone?

The title says it all. An admin is listed as my child’s counselor. All the previous year’s counselors have disappeared. IEP is a mess. Anyone knows what’s going on?

Their current counselors will. This happens all the time.

In Parentvue one of the admins is listed as my child’s counselor. All these people are not from last year.

I assume your child’s IEP case manager is still there. You should ask them what is going on and also schedule an IEP meeting asap to make sure the IEP is being followed given all the staff upheaval at Wooton

NP here. I just learned that DS’s case manager retired. We’re really disappointed as he was wonderful. I’m hoping that there’s no negative impact. I don’t know if the replacement is new to the school or someone who is just taking on more students.

To the poster who asked about letters of recommendation for seniors, DS’s counselor completed his before she left. I’m hoping that’s true for most of the students.
