Some man figured out that it's the only OTC pain reliever that's safe for pregnant women to take and wants to make sure we can't have it. These conspiracy-theory, pseudoscience weirdos hate women and don't actually care about our (or our children's) health and well-being.

I have two ASD kids and one who is not and that is the one pregnancy during which I took a considerable amount of Tylenol. Also if you look at DH’s family tree, it’s easy to see where the autism came from. It will be generations before we emerge from this nonsensical misinformation.

So this is ironic. You can not take a caution that Tylenol use during pregnancy may case or worsen some cases of autism to mean that only Tylenol ever causss all cases of autism.

Leucovorin isnt a drug. Its a pharmaceutical grade vitamin.
Leucovorin works to treat not autism, but the autoimmune condition Cerebral folate deficiency which 60 to 70 percent of autistic people have as a comorbidity with autism. Cerebral folate deficiency is caused, largely, by antibodies that bind to or block the main folate receptors called folate receptor alpha. These antibodies prevent the folate thats consumed from metabolizing across the blood brain barrier. Blood folate levels are normal but lumbar punctures show severe deficiency of folate in the central nervous system (the brain). Folate is a crucial vitamin for normal brain development.

Leucovorin aka high dose folinic acid is able to bypass this blockade because it can be metabized through a different pathway.
