Are you getting a passport card so you can travel with US?

A lot of people I know are getting or have passports cards. Some of the people are in the Trump administration and say it would be the smart thing to do. A girl in our neighborhood in NW DC was stopped because she did not look like a US citizen. Is anyone else planning on getting their?

Absolutely we got them Nov 2024. Once we saw what was going to happen. We all carry ours at all times. Two kids at college in different cities. No other way to prove citizenship, except COC which you centrally carry around (expensive to get, paper), 8.5 x 11).

I have a Real ID, passport card, and Global Entry card because they were all offered to me through normal life activities.

We got them starting in the last Trump Adm. I don't carry it daily but do being when I travel domestically. We're not white. Maybe ICE won't care but it's a small comfort to at least feel like I can prove on the spot that I'm a US citizen (& my kids too).

Real id is not proof of US citizenship per DHS and ICE.

I was watching George Conway and he said he got his passport card. He carries all the time now.
