Don’t forget his April junket to India (where he didn’t actually make a deal on tariffs despite saying he did). And he’s off to the Cotswolds in the UK next week for a luxury stay. He may not actually be doing anything but at least his wife and kids are having fun while American taxpayers pay for his travel. |

He is a really sad psychological study. I think he’s got a lot of self loathing so he does things like seek out an Ivy degree but then seek to punish ivies because he didn’t feel welcome. I think he grew up feeling unloved and not really accepted anywhere and he is constantly trying to escape from his various pasts or hurt those who hurt him. Compare him to someone like Obama or Clinton that also grew up with some challenges but has really strong loving mother figures in their lives and (while Clinton certainly has his own issues) never gave off that vindictive vibe. JD just strikes me as someone who is really damaged. |
