Joe Biden being one, but what makes older generations love ice cream? Will generations born in the 70s, 80s, 90s feel the same about it when we are elderly? |
Which age group doesn’t like ice cream? |
Who doesn't love ice cream? People eat more of it when they get old because they've stopped worrying about their waistlines. |
lol!
Maybe it’s easy with dentures. Seriously, OP, all ages love ice cream. If your premise is true, which I’m not sure about, maybe old people DGAF about calories (as the PP suggested) and think their ice cream days are numbered so they’d better enjoy. |
I do not know anyone who doesn’t love ice cream |
Good lord, seriously! Let the man enjoy an ice cream, I know I do!! |
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.
(you knew this was coming, right?) |
It's not specifically ice cream, it's soft-serve. |
This. There are so many videos of babies trying ice cream for the first time for a reason. I remember my son's first time having ice cream as a toddler, his eyes went so wide, like he was seeing new possibilities for the first time. Even cake didn't trigger that reaction. |
I am so confused. My daugher was born in 2009. She loves ice cream. Me, in the 70s, I love ice cream. I mean, I realize that's a small sample size, but OP, what are you talking about? |
Everyone I know loves ice cream OP. |
I think this is a regional thing. Soft serve is mid at best. |
I don’t love it. I don’t find it repellent, but it’s not hard to resist. I’ve never known anyone who only started to love ice cream once they were elderly. Old people who love ice cream always loved it. Maybe they buy it more often once they don’t have a whole family to feed. |
I agree with you on soft serve ice cream and froyo, but frozen custard is a whole different animal. |
I don’t love ice cream. I like it fine, once in a while, but I’m definitely not dying to have it all the time or anything. |
