Seven-Layer Cookies:
Spread in 9 x 13 pan: 1. 1 stick melted margarine 2. 1 cup graham cracker crumbs 3. 1 pkg. (12 oz) chocolate chips 4. 1 pkg. (12 oz) butterscotch chips 5. 1 cup coconut 6. 1 cup chopped walnuts 7. 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (14 oz) Bake at 350 degrees F 25-30 minutes (until top starts to turn golden). Cut into squares. Cool and chill. Pina Colada cake Bake one white box cake according to directions. When cake is done, while still hot, poke with holes and then cover with 1can cream of coconut and 1 can crushed pineapple. Chill. Top with cool whip. Gooey Butter Cake Combine and spread in 9 x 13" pan for crust: 1 box pound cake mix, 2 eggs, 1 stick melted butter. Mix together and spread over cake mix: 1 8-oz. pkg softened cream cheese, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1 lb. box powdered sugar (reserving 1/2 cup of powdered sugar). Sprinkle the reserved powdered sugar over cheese mixture. Bake 325-350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. |

Pp here - Pyrex vs. metal shouldn’t be a problem - I use my pyrex 9x13 for these recipes. The capacity is probably going to be the bigger issue. It may not make a lot of difference in the cookies, but the cakes may be more finicky.
