Help me with birth years-- under the current rules, the ones who could receive calls June 15 are the current 09s and older/fall birthday 08s? (Rising juniors?) I have not yet figured out the college recruiting thing, but need to pay attention because my 2011 is asking to go to ID events.

My GA daughter got a personalized email from a D2 and 3 emails from D1s with her name but that were probably sent because she filled out their questionnaire. "We are looking forward to getting to know you."

My DD has had a lot of activity on instagram in the last few weeks. Got one request for an official visit yesterday. Nothing else yet

Text messages and emails have come in starting yesterday. Requests to setup calls. Have started to do that. We will see where it goes.

Will be at ECNL playoffs so she will see what comes out of that as well.

True fact. Kids who get P4 interest on June 15 all built resumes at age 14 and 15. It’s very early.

I too think it is crazy to think that these judgments are made at these ages, and I think that it has pernicious ripple effects for the girls' side a younger ages.

Just saw that a player from Real Madrids girls academy committed to Harvard. I think that’s the start of women’s soccer also starting full spots with international players

DD has had 6 phone calls since yesterday. Two want to set up a school visit already in August. These schools are both a plane ride away and it seems like a long way to go based on one call. We can’t say no to anything at this point. One coach said their high school recruiting class will be small because they are looking to use the transfer portal now. DD doesn’t want to share with her teammates the schools she’s talking to because she doesn’t want to tip them off. Most teammates are being similarly quiet. It’s a little weird as these are some of her best friends. ECNL playoffs in CA are going to be interesting. I plan to trust no one and offer only vague if not misleading info.
