I guess rivalry games are complete wildcards.

Perhaps Loyola Blakefield had a bad game vs Prep. Or Prep had bad game vs GZ.

Prep has been practicing all winter in their field-house - they came firing out of the gate in early March. Prep, in my opinion, doesn't look any better than they did the first week of the season.

The sign of a great coach and staff is how much your team improves over the course of the season. Bullis and Landon, as of right now, look flat-out better than Prep.

Still plenty of season left to be played, but GP look very disorganized last night on the defensive side of the field, and their offense looked off.

Congrats to GZ on the upset.

Take away Preps boarders and they below average. Didn’t see much gritt or toughness last night.

Hoyas will have handful against Bullis and Landon come April .

Says a lot that that fact seems to escape so many contributors to this forum.

And If he was 6'10", he'd be in the NBA. GP does have boarders and they are still a very good team in the DC area. That's like saying if all the kids who are in the boarding schools stayed in DC, how much better they'd be, but they aren't in DC.

Yes, those are tough games every year. The team to watch out for in the IAC is STA. They are more competitive than they've been in several years.

GZ will win the WCAC. They are grinders and not full of primadonnas.

As disappointing as SJC is - they will get revenge on SMR and DM has just become a joke.

SJC losses are to 2 teams that would both wipe the floor with GZ & Prep. Not disappointing so don't start that SJC hate narrative that fills up this board.

Why is SJC disappointing? Because they lost to Culver and Hill?

I've heard one that before...

Hill School is not Hill Academy , don’t kid yourself SJC faithful. The cadets can’t score goals. The culver performance was embarrassing.

Keep giving yourself moral victories

I guess SJC is 5-0 this year?

It seems to me that Gonzaga's challenging schedule helped their younger roster improve and they might be ready to compete the rest of the way. There are wins and lessons.

Clearly you don't know lacrosse or didn't see either Culver or Hill.

St. John's can't seem to win a big game.
