Eh…. Credit to Bullis for the Haverford and Spalding wins, but those wins are looking less and less significant every week. We really won’t know more about Bullis until they play Landon on 4/17. Their schedule until then is a bunch of cupcakes. Though I won’t be shocked if EHS gives them a scare.

The goalpost moving on Bullis is top notch. They’ve beaten four teams ranked higher than them and are undefeated. It’s okay to admit when a team is doing well.

No one’s moving the goalpost. They’re just not the “unquestionably” the best team in the DMV. But after tonight, only Landon is in contention with Bullis. GP has more talent, but can’t make it work. .

That loss wasn't on fogo. Fogo was over 60% against Hill.

They have a goalie going to Penn State too.

Another stelkar example of okay but not good. He won’t lose the game, but he also won’t win it. At PSU, he won’t touch the field.

Goalie is not the problem. Defense and lazy at that!

Easy goalie dad …. The goalie may not be the problem but Military Road acolytes should stop pretending like he is the solution. He is not as good as his hype machine. He is okay, and that is the extent of it.

Bitter jealousy is a tragic state of mind

Two average teams on display tonight.

Too much talent in this area is going up north to the New England west conference.

GZ will win the WCAC. They are grinders and not full of primadonnas.

He isn't a difference maker. He might not be the best goalie at St. Johns.

As disappointing as SJC is - they will get revenge on SMR and DM has just become a joke.

Both were a joke last year and they beat SJC.

It’s better lacrosse.

Is that 4-1 record with or without the scrimmage win against BL?

GP's rating just got a little hgher Episcopal PA beating, now former, #1 Lawrenceville.

Hilarious. GP ranking better not by winning but losing to a way better team. That’s looking at the glass half full. What now that GP lost to GZ?

Top Ten - quick reshuffle

#1 Paul VI
#2 Bullis. Haverford 2-3 and Spalding 2-4.
#3 Landon
#4 Georgetown Prep. Only slides a little based on the NCAA logic of looking at the upset win rather than head-to-head. Also, beat GC last year with similar rosters.
#5 Good Counsel
#6 St. John's. Big offense problem
#7 Gonzaga - that's more like it and room to rise
#8 St. Albans
#9 Potomac - STJ will push for this spot
#10 Episcopal getting blown out by PVI pushes them down

Mentions - STJ, Urbana, Madison, Independence, Publics get pushed out with DM beating Langley by 5

Last year’s DM team was loaded, enough so to even overcome four years of no coaching. All met middie, fogo and goalie, all American at attack, and two team USA players at close D along with a few others that were game wreckers. Those seniors were worthy champs. Now they’re a joke.

Episcopal Dallas School is not very good this year. Landon should take them by double digits.

How did GP beat Loyola by more (5) than did Malvern (3) and Chaminade (2)....same spread as the Western Reserve factory?

I guess rivalry games are complete wildcards.
