He is a man child telling them both he loves them and before this faith same thing
You are the one! He is Cruel and insensitive I would not want him |
Oh are you one of those people that thinks a person is only capable of being romantically in love with more than one person? I bet you also believe that there's "only one person out there for you", and all that fairytale bull$hit |
*this should say "one person", not "more than one person" |
Theresa is 70. She turned 70 the night they all met. I didn't see any connection with Faith. They seemed like they were acting. I definitely saw a connection with Leslie but I don't think Fantasy Suite night went well. The vibes were off in the morning. In contrast, he and Theresa looked all googly eyed in the morning. |
| I tried to watch this but it was awful. The cheesy entrances were too much. |
I think he was gaga about Leslie until the overnight with all the talking, and who knows what did or didn't happen between them physically but I doubt they were in sync there either. He was much more reserved in the morning. I believe he was sincere when he said those things the night before, but developed reservations based on her answers to his many questions. Theresa, being the "A" student she is, passed the exam with flying colors. |

You can think you have a connection with someone and try to be "open minded" about your differences (you don't want to lose a good person over x, y, or z)
Then you meet someone who doesn't have those differences and it's a revelation that you don't have to be open minded about x, y, and z; you don't have to work through the differences because you found someone who is already on the same page with you. And you realize that your life will be so much easier. It doesn't mean you were stringing the first one along. It just means you found a better match. We all knew this would end with one older lady getting her heart 💔. We feel for her. And at the same time, can we celebrate the joy of two older folks finding love? |
| It's clear that Theresa is desperate and told him exactly what he wanted to hear. She's in it to win it, friends. |
I like her a lot less than Leslie, but I think Leslie comes off as more desperate. Leslie has spent the entire show (that we've seen) talking about picking bad men, never getting chosen, freaking out when Gerry is with someone else, being afraid to be vulnerable, then being vulnerable and being afraid of getting hurt. It's all been about how much she wants to be loved. Theresa has basically been like "I was married a long time and lost my husband, I tried dating but gave up, I like my career, I want to fall in love again, and maybe you're the one!" She certainly seems more calm and Leslie more frantic, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's calculated. |
Exactly. And she's desperate to keep this thread open. Or someone who knows her. Nobody else cares, but it's all she's got. |
Then why are you here? |
To torment you.

It's interesting that you and some other PPs have this very harsh and negative opinion of Theresa when you've seen about 60 min. of her (if that) over the past 2 months. Yet, those who spent several hundred hours around her (i.e. Leslie, and Faith) have stated in their ITMs (? --- personal moments with the cameras rolling) saying that they like Theresa, she's a friend, and they have nothing bad to say about her. In fact, even Kathy (zip it), has said in an ET interview that her spat with Theresa was made into WAY more than it actually was. Kathy says Theresa is "lovely" (whether she's just being diplomatic at this point or she really means it, who knows -- but she has the smarts or grace to put aside her grievances and just say that Theresa is "lovely.") If Kathy can come to that conclusion; and Leslie and Faith genuinely said they like Theresa and that she's a friend -- and all three have spent about 300 times as much time with Theresa as any of us (the viewers) have -- can you let go of your negative judgments? |
Sure, if she (or someone that knows her) will stop posting here. It's desperate and weird. |
What on earth? You think Theresa is posting here? Doesn't sound very likely to me. |
