I started the thread and post often, and I like all the women who appeared on the show.
I have defended Theresa a few times, because I find the hate strange. I've also defended April.

I like both Theresa and Leslie.

What's weird is hating any of these women.

How weird do you have to be to assume that someone on an entertainment forum who disagrees with you about a "celebrity" is that celebrity or their PR people?

It's such a lazy rhetorical/logical crutch to accuse anyone who doesn't agree with you of being an insider.

It's completely 🤪...yet I've also seen it in recent threads in FCPS forum. " If you disagree with me, you must be the principal of the school or part of the school admin!" (Right! The principal of a HS is posting on DCUM...makes sense!)

I like her a lot less than Leslie, but I think Leslie comes off as more desperate.
Leslie has spent the entire show (that we've seen) talking about picking bad men, never getting chosen, freaking out when Gerry is with someone else, being afraid to be vulnerable, then being vulnerable and being afraid of getting hurt. It's all been about how much she wants to be loved.
Theresa has basically been like "I was married a long time and lost my husband, I tried dating but gave up, I like my career, I want to fall in love again, and maybe you're the one!"
She certainly seems more calm and Leslie more frantic, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's calculated.

Oh, I don't like Leslie either, she's just pathetic.

I think he was gaga about Leslie until the overnight with all the talking, and who knows what did or didn't happen between them physically but I doubt they were in sync there either. He was much more reserved in the morning. I believe he was sincere when he said those things the night before, but developed reservations based on her answers to his many questions. Theresa, being the "A" student she is, passed the exam with flying colors.

I agree with this. He was so attracted to Leslie and felt protective of her, blindly hoped the conversation would go well but it didn’t. He liked Theresa from the get, but she blew him away with her like-mindedness on the overnight (whether real or simulated) and she swerved into first. He and Theresa do make sense. He and Leslie really don’t. And his family will reinforce this.
