Is FCPS considering closing for Friday June 6 now that Eid begins earlier?

| Arlington Public Schools yesterday announced that it is closing June 6, after seeing the moon this week and Eid moving a day earlier. Does anyone think Fairfax will??? it's my son's final field trip of elementary school and I know he'll be crushed. |

Most likely, there is a separation of church and state issue with this one, as changing the calendar 2-3 weeks out is being done purely for religious reasons. Someone is going to sue (and win) over this one. |
