Ladies when did you stop turning heads?

I’m 38 and feeling a bit unmoored as I’m no longer the young hot woman in most rooms. I’m beginning to feel invisible.

How did you guys cope? When did it start for you?

Before, the brave and the stupid came up to me. Now I get the characters.

Well, I’m 50 and got catcalled by a group of homeless men yesterday.

As a 50 years old man I have found women to be far more confident in their looks and attractiveness as they age. Women still have a dedicated skincare/makeup routine well into old age. That kind of dedication must have results else women won't keep doing it.

Perhaps they would rather not get attention from bold and big bellied men like me and would rather have younger sexier men look at them instead lol, but I don't think women ever stop turning heads.

I don't know what most of us men tend to notice younger women more despite the fact that in 9/10 times they would never look our way and when they do they are looking for something to extract lol.

I am delusional, a 30 years old woman who agrees to engage with me either romantically or sexually in 99% of cases I could be financially attractive. Yes I work out, but I am 50 and bold with a protruding belly.

After 40 it really only feels like the crazies, in terms of on the street head turning.

Sir, that is so far from the truth. Women keep doing it because society keeps telling them that youth is the only currency that matters, and then capitalism sells them promises of youth. You may be aware that Korea is absolutely obsessed with skincare. It's everywhere; the government subsidizes it. And they have exactly the same amount of acne/ wrinkles etc as any other country. It's all a scam. Most women acknowledge this, but say "well it makes me feel better". This only "skincare" that matters is sunscreen. Full stop.

I was delighted when I became invisible to walking testosterone. Because you're not actually losing anything you wanted. I didn't like getting catcalled, or to be the 9th woman some chad hit on in the club.

I still get interest, but it's from men of quality, after some conversation. This is where I wish I'd been all along.

I’m 42 and they still turn. So I’d think for awhile. But I have dark long hair and a nice face, though an average mom body. I think if you have at least one conventional “hook” (shapely body in form fitting clothing, long hair, pretty face) it will continue to catch eyes because men will stare at anything.

I turned some heads today in Miami and that made me feel good. I am almost 49.

^ I have great hair and I was wearing bright lipstick.

Maybe. Mutton dressed as lamb also turns heads.

I've always been ugly so luckily have never had to deal with this very difficult problem. One time a homeless person told me I was too ugly to wear the skirt I was wearing, and a father/son tourist duo laughed, but that's the closest I've come to turning a head.

Thoughts and prayers, OP.

True. You feel violated when men of no quality pay unwanted attention to you. It is humiliating.
