Anonymous
Hi all. Do you all have any good phone apps to build workout plans? I am trying to build muscle mass.

I use a HOA gym with limited equipment
- Cardio machines - treadmill, elliptical, bikes
- Dumbells and benches
- Chest/incline/shoulder press machine
- Leg curl/extension machine
- Lat pull/row machine
- Cable machine

Lift enough and eat enough protein and fat and you will gain muscle. There's no secret to it, just hard work. Vary your exercises so you don't get bored.

Download Madeline moves. $20 a month and there’s like 7 plans you get access to that update weekly, from beginner to advanced to gym to home equipment to core to cross training for running. I have used it and loved it for almost 2 years now- I left Orangetheory and barre to do more gym work and this was my go to.

Peloton app. I think it’s $13.99 a month

Future App. Uses AI as well as one-on-one human coaches. If I had the spare money I’d do it.

I recommend Better Me App. Pretty good little daily work out and stretch to get you going. If you supplement the App with you HOA workout room routine you will be set.

You don't have to buy this particular product, you can also use straps, but look up MonkeyFeet. Straps to your shoe and grabs dumbbells. Lots of good leg workout possibilities. Otherwise, work in a weighted db lunges, deadlift, goblet squats. Arnold has a really good app called ThePump with really good routines that you can customize to your available equipment.

TrainHeroic app allows you to build your own workouts from their database of exercises.

+1 then join the Hard Core on the Floor (HCOTF) Facebook group or go to the HCOTF website. This is run by a personal trainer who hand picks daily Peloton strength classes. It is typically 40 minutes of classes per day but in "stacks" of shorter classes usually starting with a 10 minute core class. You can ease into it by just doing the 10 minute core class daily and then add the other classes on as you can

Honestly, pop your op into ChatGPT. It will come up with a custom plan for you. No joke, it’s actually great. You can set how long you want the workout to be, the equipment you have, how many x/wk you want to do it. Very helpful and FREE.

It's more about CALORIES. You need to lift heavy and EAT. I mean EAT. Nibbling on some lettuce, no fat yogurts, and a few apples and nuts ain't gonna do it. EAT.

Not OP but I just did that for a 3 day split for weight training with dumbbells and I am going to try it!
