| Mine is the Fairfax Wegmans. I love the decor and the general feel of the place. |
| Publix. Because I’m from Florida. |
| Snider's Super Foods in Silver Spring. |
| I miss Ukrops and pre-Amazon Whole Foods |
| I like the Harris Teeter in FCC. |
| Germantown Wegmans, though I have high hopes for the new one opening on Rockville Pike as it’s closer. The store is clean, meat and produce are of good quality and variety and prices are reasonable. |
|
I love Publix, too.
The Safeways in Arizona are good. I shop Safeway here. Giant gives me the creeps, Harris Teeter is just off somehow. |
Why? I ask why, because I always shop at Giant, but you saying it gives you the creeps resonates with me -- and I can't put my finger on why. I've shopped regularly at the Giant on Broad in FC and the one on Maple in Vienna. |
| Walmart - easy delivery |
Me too. Love the Germantown Wegs. They always have a great selection of cook-in-a-bag meals. My fam loves the Thai red chicken curry and the “Sunday sauce,” which is meatballs and pork. |
| With two toddlers, right now, we really prioritize anywhere that has “fun” grocery carts (like cars). Love the Harris Teeter in Alexandria on Duke. |
| I shop at the Giant in Cabin John and the one in Potomac and they're 100% fine for me and my family. Also like Trader Joe's. Occasionally Target or Costco. I do not shop at Whole Foods. |
| Fresh Market and Giant in Vienna. Sometimes, TJs. Why? Get's the job done. |
|
Publix. Often it really is the most pleasant place to shop.
“Where shopping’s a pleasure” |
Color scheme, layout, it seems claustrophobic to me and I don't know just why. We moved here when there were just Safeway and Giant, i tried both. Fled to Safeway. I like my funky Wilson Blvd one better than the bigger Giant on Washington Blvd near Clarendon. |
