Israel has attacked Hamas claiming Hamas was not giving up hostages. I suspect most of the remaining ones have sadly been killed.

Aren’t hostages getting killed when they attack Hamas? Seems like keeping the ceasefire going at least to get the remaining hostages was worth it. If I was a family Member, I’d be pissed

Israel didn’t want to proceed to stage 2 of the ceasefire.
They wanted to extend stage 1 instead.
This is a new requirement to what was originally agreed upon

Israel should have adhered to international law.

There is a reason the prime minister and former defense minister have warrants out for crimes against humanity.

Yes they care about their hostages. But they care more about continuing to bomb and starve the people of Gaza.

I really don't understand why Palestinians continue to support Hamas. The Hamas government has brought forth nothing but destruction to Gaza. How has taking all these hostages helped Palestinians? I understand they are getting Hamas militants and terrorists back for these hostages. But how does that help average Palestinians? Hamas has brought nothing but misery. I will never understand why people support them.

They sound similar, but "Free Palestine" and "Pro Palestine" are worlds apart.

Palestine sucks.
Hamas sucks the most, but they all suck.

They will continue killing each other until they are all dead. The idea that there are “good” and “bad” players in that war is an illusion.

You try to twist the facts so you can find a “good” side. You end up justifying children being murdered (“their parent was Hamas and using them as a human shield” OR “their parent is a colonizer who has abused Palestinians for decades, they’re acceptable collateral damage.”)

There’s no good side here.

Hamas never had any intention to return most of the remaining hostages. That was clear to anyone with a brain. They are either lost or long dead. I’m frankly shocked they had as many to return as they did.
