How’s Sherwood?

Anonymous
I’m looking into buying a home in the district. I have a 15-year-old who would be transferring. How is the bathroom situation at the school? What’s the student body like? Are there a lot of fights? I’m also open to private schools if this one isn’t a good fit. I want to ensure my son is in a safe and supportive environment. Any insights would be appreciated!

Sadly, this is how it is when you ask for feedback about non W or Magnet high schools.

Come to Burtonsville! You’ll be welcomed with open arms.

I have family in burtonsville, if I moved there I would have to do private school. As I know from them the NEC is not a great choice. That’s why I looked at Olney.

Op,if you’re going private just move to Pg. Doesn’t make sense to pay more in burtonsville, when the schools are bad like you said.

Don’t bother looking at Magruder either. Nearby and just as racist (if not more).

Looking at my price range and other pyramids, I’m probably just going to go private, as the only areas in my price range are Olney, Fairland/Burtonsville, Aspen Hill, and Wheaton. I liked Olney the most, but with what I’ve seen and other pyramids not being good, it looks like private is the move now. Thanks for all the advice.
