I think it is a reflection of light. Sometimes you can see part of it.

Rep. Turner

Thanks, PPs. Listening on the radio and missed the intro. He couldn’t even pronounce Vindman’s name correctly and didn’t appear to know how government works. Good lord.

Mr. Carson closing statement covers this entire Trump Presidency and its fall of the GOP: “That’s appalling.”.

Schiff:
President Trump, FYI this process allows you opportunity to submit a response to this committee before it moves forward in proceedings. It’s not a witch hunt. We are following the constitutional order of le.

Mr. Stewart LITERALLY pouted. What an entitled brat.

I'm on team-Vindman here, and I did like that response. But it also reminded me of Col. Jessup who was the bad guy. ("I would appreciate it if you would address me as "Colonel" or "Sir." I believe I've earned it.")

You don't know many Army colonels. I think every last one of them I know would've responded the same way as Vindman.

This is true. I don't.

And where is MR. STEWART’s nameplate?

Odd.

I am sure it is there, but with camera angles, they often show up in front of other people sitting next to the person.

Because, contrary to Vindman’s assessment (because he was surrounded by so.much.power.) he thought LTC wasn’t “that senior” of a rank. I think when you get used to working around powerful, resourceful stakeholders, you can lose perspective of how rare your work is. And how far it reaches.

It is hard to watch Jordan grill someone who reported what he thought was wrong doing when Jordan famously did NOT report serious wrong doing.

As the parent of a teenage boy, it is hard to stomach watching Jordan.

Jordan is so intellectually dishonest, it is sickening.

Well. I do and they would not have corrected a Congressman in that manner. And, FWIW, among them is at least one who had "light wounds" as Vindman did and refused to get Purple Heart when he could have. Why, because he understood the sacrifice of so many who had serious injuries.

People do not understand that someone like a double amputee gets the same Purple Heart as someone with "light wounds" who is able to continue working the same day.

Have the people you know who would not have corrected a congressman had their lives threatened? Have they been threatened by the president? Have they had to move their family to secure housing because their lives were under threat because they were answering a subpoena?

His life could depend on him making sure that people listening remembers he is a LTC. And don't play innocent -you know very well he is at risk.
