It will be interesting to see what an investigation turns up. I think old acquaintances who have been quiet on the sidelines may have something to add. Also, if the stories we’re hearing about the party culture at his high school in the 80’s are true, there could be a few people out there not terribly excited to have an fbi investigation opened into what those guys were up to in the 80’s. It’s one thing to be a Supreme Court nominee, in which case you brace yourself for the scrutiny, but if you’re some dude who has skeletons in the closet from those years and maybe deliberately avoided federal jobs to avoid any probing into the past via background checks....

The FBI will come back with nothing new or interesting. Nothing that proves guilt or innocence.
Liberals will have gotten their week-long delay. But, we will be no further along.
And, in years to come, liberals will continue to bad-mouth Justice Kavanaugh, despite his impeccable judicial record because...
- they are liberals
- they don’t believe that “boofing” refers to flatulence or “Devil’s Triangle” is a drinking game
- they don’t really want the truth - they are secretly hoping for another allegation to come forward
- they are fearful of decisions on Roe vs. Wade
- we have the example of Justice Thomas. Despite an FBI investigation that found no evidence to the claims being made, he is still guilty. Because.....
- he isn’t liberal

It is patently transparent what the game is here. And, those of use disgusted with the crap the Democrats have pulled are growing in number by the day.

Ford’s attorneys have issued a statement that says there should be no artificial constraints on time or scope.

When the FBI does background investigation interviews of those associated with the subject of the investigation are the associates interviewed allowed to have their lawyers present?
