VLC 25 will look entirely new at end of summer. Getting solid interest and expect a completely revamped offense.
At least one very strong midfielder and two solid attacks will be joining the club from a very strong area team. Would not be surprised if entire VLC starting attack looks different. Relax. They are going to be fine! Great players are gravitating towards the club. |

| they looked a lot better at Crabfest this weekend! Most parents I talked to feel good about the future of this team. I think a couple of bad apples are spewing here, and will be leaving the team. |

Beating a very good #2 ranked Team 91 Charlotte was a big win. That team has beaten very good teams this summer and is legit. Huge win for VLC 25. Bro. Your kid is off the team when the ML, DCE, and possibly a NL and Hawks player or two show up for tryouts anyway. Team will be good and deep. VLC as a club has not forgotten how to do this. Their reputation is excellent. HS will be good for this team. |

Because VLC 25 is on the upswing, as we have been saying all along...
New coach named, who is a game changer. Great mentor for these boys and solidifies the team. Parents and players are very excited! Team won championship this past weekend going undefeated at their tourney! Beat a very good DCE team and the talk on sideline is most of the boys from that team will be crossing the river to join VLC and to create a really strong team for next year! So I don't think we'll be losing, only getting stronger. Parents on this team and those on other teams coming over, want to only win and get these boys prepared for HS lax. Good things coming for VLC 25. Patience finally being rewarded. Sign up for tryouts to see what it is all about. Haters, see you later. |

So you dominated at the Virginia Cup LOLtournament. (chirpy preschool teacher voice) Good job! Everyone wear your championship tee shirts with pride! I'm glad your boys had fun, and I'm sure it was more satisfying for them than their typical tournament performance of losing on Saturday and playing consolation games on Sunday. But their opponents were not exactly challenging. Mostly True Lacrosse garbage teams (nb the best True team, True Annapolis, was not even there). For example, the first two True teams that VLC 2025 thrashed subsequently played each other. This clash of the titans resulted in a 1-0 final score. ROFLMAO! That is some U8 rec team level lacrosse right there. Would have been embarrassing not to destroy those teams. Then you beat DCE 5-4. This is the DCE team that was in the division below you in HoCo, so really, it should not have been as much of a struggle to beat them as it was. (You should also have been in the AA division in HoCo instead of AAA, but oh well.) If you get their best players then you'll have a really great AA level team, yay! At least, unlike you, they know how to score points, against other AA teams anyway. It's great that you're getting a new coach, whoever he is. The coach you had this year was clearly terrible. That is why your team did not improve significantly over the course of the year. Sorry, haters, but numbers don't lie. My guess would be that your coach this year was of the "yell at kids when they do things wrong" type rather than the "give kids useful feedback when they do things wrong so they get better" type. The latter approach is actual coaching, which is what you were paying for but did not get. If VLC gets new players and a new coach, they should indeed improve. The question is, will the new coach be able to compensate for the year of player development you simply did not get over the past season under the old coach? |

yes but this dce team is also very good - va finally got competitive game after beating up bunch of true teams. dce scored on almost every powerplay, not as many turnovers overall. dce is very well coached and kids played like they would in high school. |

If you are banking on those DCE players coming over you will be second choice VLC 25, cause I’m seeing a bunch of your recruits here at NL tryouts tonight. BWAHAHAHAHA.

Very funny Aside from one pole, the goalies, and the FOGO no one on VLC 25 could make the NL team. Big part of that is the amount of reclasses at NL. VLC 25's were not good against the DCE B team but they pulled a victory out, something they couldn't do all season. VLC game IQ was so low it was almost unbelievable. They are difficult to watch on offense, It's like they're searching for the worst shot possible. Heard good things about the new coach but having no HC would be better than the current situation. They have talent, can they get the right mix on the field. |
