DP Who told you that? Iran has borders with road and rail. Pakistan and Iraq are its friends both will received and ship goods for Iran. Wait till a Chinese flagged ship fills up with oil and sails past the US blockade. How about an Australian ship. You think Trump will stop an Australian bound ship with the gas crisis in that country? Truth is they will say they stopped 14 ships today but it never happened. One thing this administration does is lie about everything. The US does not have the ships, air coverage or cooperation of any other nation to run a blockade of this size. In the Cuban missile “quarantine”, the US used over 200 ship including 8 aircraft carriers for 500 miles radius around Cuban. This blockade is magnitudes larger. The blockade is a Trump distraction. Just like Trump said tariffs have brought in over trillion dollars and created 10 trillion in foreign investment in the US. The US navy will stop a 1,000 ships a day and Iran will be wrecked! In reality Trump has accepted Irans 10 point plan and get nothing in return. Meanwhile Iran is using access to the straits as a way increase trade and break US influence with countries throughout the world. What a total and complete defeat for the US. This is an unprecedented defeat for the US and a total disaster for Israel. |

"STRAIT OF IRAN IS FULLY OPEN" TRUMP on TS
Post. |
Land routes cannot even remotely make up for what they're losing by not having a viable sea route with a blockade going. Iran does not have capacity to move oil over land in any reasonable volume. Also, Australia isn't a problem. They haven't been buying any meaningful amount of oil from Iran. And I guarantee Australia isn't going to try and make a thunder run past a US blockade. The US isn't quarantining all traffic. That's not the mission. They are only stopping traffic coming from Iranian ports. Bottom line still remains, sea routes are Iran's economic lifeblood. With the US blockading it, that's a huge liability for Iran. |
Not for long, Israel already broke another ceasefire for the thousandth plus time https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/israel-security/2026-04-17/ty-article-live/trump-says-war-in-iran-should-be-ending-pretty-soon/0000019d-9934-d9bd-abfd-fbf508480000 |

I just watched the French evening news (France 2 channel), and instead of sticking to the content of the announcements like they used to do, they discussed the number of his posts in such a short amount of time, and his autocratic tone when addressing another head of state, Netanyahu. Clearly they're insinuating that he's a loose cannon and not to be trusted. |
Me again. Just as I thought. Iran has refuted a lot of Trump's posts from today. He's in a dementia manic episode today. |
How can anything trump says be believed? |
| It can’t- which is why there is no reason to negotiate a deal with him when he will just break it two days later. |
What the f do you think the US is going to do? Blow up tankers? This blockade is a joke. Do you really think Iran will keep the strait open if there is a blockade? |
There is no restrictions on hitting Israel. |
He called it strait of Iran not Strait of Hormuz. He is admitting something. |
You have been provided with multiple sources (multiple times) explaining to you what the situation is. Iran laid mines that it now doesn't have the capabilities to find, so other countries have to do the job for them. When chastised about opening the strait, they did manage to provide a map of a safe route through the strait for those ships who want to attempt it. In the meantime, the U.S. has several minesweeping ships in the area to do Iran's cleanup for them. I mean, are you unable to read?
|
True. And he also noted that ships have to follow a set path due to the mines. Iran's ships and ports will still be blockaded. “In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on X. He added that ships must follow routes coordinated by Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization. https://www.politico.com/news/2026/04/17/iran-war-strait-of-hormuz-open-00878387 |
You are comical. I mean, seriously comical. |
At least quote honestly from your own source. That $20 billion is frozen Iranian assets. It's not U.S. money. It's a great deal in return for Iran giving up its uranium. "the U.S. would release $20 billion in frozen Iranian funds in return for Iran giving up its stockpile of enriched uranium" |
