Brought my son to an ID session at NVA as well, small world so we recognize the top players and was surprised at who was there. Whether there is real interest time will tell but don’t discount how many kids showed up.

Have people forgotten that vr$c only has GA because they bought the spot and MLS 2 is a fake badge? This club is a collection of cuts and demoted players/coaches. Money is the motive.

If you're honestly worried your DC won't stay on the top team, then look elsewhere; otherwise, let it play out. With a few exceptions, every current player will get rostered.

I dont work for VRSC. Just a parent with a DC that has no plans to leave the club. I've already heard from other parents that are too impatient and accepting offers at other clubs because VRSC is taking longer to issue offers. Its too bad because some of the kids are really good and i dont like that the team will be breaking up.

I know it's also a game every tryout season too. There are many parents who will accept offers at multiple clubs because they dont care if they lose the deposit. I know one family that lost close to $1k doing that. I cant afford to do that.

Commitments can be broken, open season until you sign a “contract” and put money down. Just like college

Are the tryouts on the VRSC website only for the teams below MLS Next and GA? Were ID sessions for that level by invite only for rising U13?

They will - rosters have to be at the requisite 22-25 players.
