Is that privately owned?

This is such an idiotic question. There literally is not a single club in the DMV that has “permanent” fields, other than VRSC. There are a lot of things on which one can reasonably criticize FCV, but fields are the proverbial red herring.

There may be another one but Loudoun is literally a single club that has "permanent" fields. Assuming both clubs have a mortgage so "permanent" is relative.

There is a mortgage on Revolution, but it's fixed at a low rate for ten years. By then they will generate enough funds to pay off the 6-7 million purchase price.

The masked owner also has very deep pockets. Not Nico but the other guy.

Who is the owner - a person or a group?

It's owned by an investment group.

First - and speaking to the child's mother...it wasn't an attempted abduction.

A U11G Revolution player went into the main restroom, and a transgender woman was making a Tik Tok in the bathroom. The woman was not part of any soccer club and was trespassing. Her prolonged presence was awkward for the player. She did not feel comfortable.

Second - this message was sent by Revolution (on March 1):

Last night, an incident occurred at Revolution involving trespassing. We want to reassure you that the matter has been swiftly addressed, and law enforcement responded promptly. Your safety is our utmost priority, and we encourage you to remain vigilant - if you notice anything unusual, please don't hesitate to speak up.

As an added precaution, we advise that players accompany each other when visiting the restroom. We are also actively reviewing and enhancing our security measures internally, and we will keep you informed of any developments.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation in ensuring the well-being of our community.

Third - AB is aware of the situation / message and has said that 1) he did not receive the email from Revolution and 2) it is too vague

So....why didn't AB follow up to get more info? A message should have been sent.[/quo

Is this AB trolling this site or DR? Nobody else would defend FCV while it's falling off the cliff.

County owns land and they lease it to the investment group. My question is why does only Loudoun Soccer get to use this field and the bolen fields?

When will FCV announce where their permanent field is located? We have a GA player and want to know where we will be driving to for practice.

You are conflating multiple issues here.

An investment group own the VRSC facility. They have a lead/managing investor whose child plays for the club.

Loudoun County owns the land at Segra Field. Loudoun United is a tenant and operates the stadium. Any club can rent the field through Loudoun United.

Loudoun Soccer does not have exclusive use of Bolen. Field space is controlled by Loudoun County and is allocated based on player registrations.

Player registration my ass. It's because they pay to play, or more appropriately practice, there. If not lost on anyone that loudoun monopolizes many fields and yet uses others for their home fields. It's all about $$$

I think you're saying that Loudoun pays the county (or its employees?) for access to Bolen, but if that's your position I'm not going to convince you otherwise on a message board. It doesn't change reality.

Exactly my point. They strong arm others out of field space all the time. It is no big secret conspiracy. Talk to anyone running soccer programs around Loudoun and they have nothing positive to say about Loudoun soccer's practices when it comes to fields around the county. Money talks, it's not a hard concept to grasp in reality.

Again, fields are doled out based on numbers. If Loudoun has 95% of the players, they get 95% of the fields. If you don't like it, tell your directors to spend more on marketing.

Loudoun Soccer has had some rec matches at Segra.
What is the status of the two new Bolen turf fields that are attached to United's facility?
