Have fun waiting for hours in traffic, just so you can see national parks like Yosemite turned into a garbage dump. You better make sure you bring a poop bag with you too, because those bathrooms are about to not go cleaned for weeks/months.

Kinda sad how the US is going to permanently damage their national treasures 💀.

+1 Easily. You can pay $400/night to get in a lodge with private bathroom. Not to mention airfare is sky-high since there are virtually no direct flights from D.C. And Jackson Hole is also super expensive.

They are a major draw for international tourists so we are turning away a ton of money. Also lots of Americans who would have vacationed at home in US will say f— it and go to someplace else.

According to Alt National Park Service, a ton of probationary employees got fired.

My daughter's boyfriend lost his summer job with the park service. Almost all job offers were rescinded. Only "law enforcement" type jobs were exempted. The National Parks are going to be a disaster for visitors this summer. Plan accordingly.
