For the record, I have always thought the airspace around National Airport is too crowded.
Daytime travel is fine. But what about travel at night? Am I safer traveling to/from Baltimore and Dulles? |
I think I am done with Reagan period. Day or night. |
Statistically you are safer flying out of whatever airport limits your driving time because you are much more likely to be in a car accident than an airplane accident. |
There have been lots of unreported close calls at National airport. Hopefully this will come to light during the investigation. |
The drive to the airport is the most dangerous part |
This But after that Dulles. |
You can go by metro. |
This incident could have easily ended up being one of the numerous close calls that happened previously.
Eventually those close calls end up being an actual collision. |
Not sure this will be true anymore under this administration. I have several trips coming up and decided to drive whenever feasible. I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking that. Plane crashes are extremely tragic but typically seem like a rare anomaly. This one doesn’t feel that way. The aviation industry is about to lose a lot of money due to this administration. |
There have been a lot of close calls at National. If I remember correctly there was a well publicized one as recently as the past 2 or 3 years. |
Same |
Good. Maybe they’ll be more seats available |
Just drive |
and get robbed |
You are in greater danger driving to the airport. |
